A few minutes ago, information was received about a large fire that had engulfed the city market. Eyewitnesses report panic, people running in different directions, and frightening explosions.
Eyewitnesses claim that the fire broke out suddenly, presumably in one of the market’s storage facilities.

“We were just standing at the counter when we saw thick black smoke. People started screaming and running. Then the first explosion rang out, which shook the windows of nearby buildings,” one of the eyewitnesses says.
There were dozens of people at the market, many of whom abandoned their belongings and goods to escape.
According to local residents, the fire has already engulfed several retail pavilions. Each new explosion increases the panic. The probable cause of the explosions is said to be gas cylinders, which are used by sellers for heating.
“I heard at least three powerful explosions. It was scary. My colleagues and I just ran,” adds one of the market workers.
Fire crews, police, and ambulances are working at the scene. However, strong winds and a large amount of flammable materials make extinguishing the fire difficult.
“The situation is critical, the fire is spreading quickly,” the fire service said.
It is not yet known whether there are any casualties, but sources claim that several people have received burns and injuries from falling debris.
The news of the fire has already spread throughout the city, and residents of nearby houses are urgently evacuating.
“We are afraid that the fire will spread to neighboring buildings. Everyone has gathered on the street, and you can hear the screams of people looking for their loved ones,” says a local resident.
Expert opinion
Fire experts warn that in such situations it is extremely important to remain calm and strictly follow the instructions of rescuers.
“In the presence of explosive materials, the risk of fire spreading increases many times over. Our teams are doing everything possible to localize the fire,” the emergency services representative said.
At the moment, the entire territory of the market has been cordoned off, traffic is blocked. The authorities are calling on city residents not to approach the scene of the incident and to stay home.
We will monitor developments and promptly report new details.
